The Law of Auto-Suggestion

"Like the wind which carries one ship East and another West, the law of auto-suggestion will lift you up or pull you down, according to the way you set your sails of THOUGHT."  ~Napoleon Hill

I think many of us have heard the little phrase we teach our children...  "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me."  Well, that may very well be true of the words that people say to us.  The question is, what are the words you tell yourself about you???  Do you feel like you talk yourself out of ideas, adventures, jobs, relationship, etc.  Is it possible that you have conditioned yourself to NOT believe in your own power to succeed?  Even if you don't really know what steps need to be taken quite yet, it is important FIRST to put yourself in a state of mind that will allow you to be open to living your successes.

I found this verse while reading about the Law of Auto-Suggestion in "Think and Grow Rich":

"If you think you are beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don't,
If you like to win, but you think you can't
It is almost certain you won't.

If you think you'll lose, you're lost,
For out of the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow's will-
It's all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are,
You've got to think high to rise,
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win the prize.

Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man,
But soon or late the man who wins
Is the man WHO THINKS HE CAN!"

Now is your chance to renew the belief in what you are capable of achieving in your life....
NOW, IN THIS VERY MOMENT!  I would love to hear what you are going to start telling yourself that is going to make the difference in your life today!  Interested in working with me?  Visit:  http://InspiredCeoMoms.com

  3. Love this Heidi! It is so true that the "tapes" we play in our heads directly affect what we do and where we go in life! One of my favorite quotes is "There are two kinds of people in this world... Those who think they can and those who think they can't. They are both right!"
Thanks for your thoughts, absolutely love this post!
