What is the SINGLE most important thing in your life???

So the holiday season is upon us again.  This is the time of year that many of us draw close to family, reflect on all that has happened through the year and make new determinations about our futures.  So I ask, "What is the SINGLE most important thing in your life?"  Did you answer with family, children or spouse?

I have found if you want to know what someone really values most, simply look at their calendar and their checkbook. How a person spends their time and money reveals what they really value most.  Well, no more lip service!  It's time to make the main thing in your life, actually the main thing!
Zig Ziglar did an interview with  SUCCESS in October 2008.  They asked him what the greatest secret to his success was, he responded, “I made sure I had a home court advantage. Because what happens at home has a dramatic impact on what you’re going to be able to do out in the public. So I’ll always put my family first. If things at home are good, you have a better chance of being successful out in the world. If you’re worried about what’s happening at home, I guarantee you, you’re not going to be quite as effective out in the world.” So, putting your family first bolsters your ability to succeed professionally.
Why do we work so hard? Why do we want to succeed? Often, our greatest, innermost motivation is rooted in wanting to provide for and contribute to our family, to deliver security and comfort, to open up opportunities for their future. In the end when we look back on our lives, what mattered most will be the love we shared with those who mean the most—not coins, cars, houses, boats, degrees, titles or even applause. Your family and significant relationships are the means and the end in life.
Let’s make a pact: No more lip service. Let’s start actually studying and giving attention to what we say is life’s most important value. When we come to the end of this life, our true legacy will lie with the ones we loved best.
Why do you work so hard? Why do you want to succeed? How do you make what you value most a priority? Please share your comments and thoughts below.

Blessings,

"Alaska? What is it like living there?"

Nine times out of ten, when people find out that I live in Alaska they ask, "Alaska?  What is it like living there?"  Are the winters cold?  Sure, but there is really no such thing as bad weather, just bad gear!!!  Honestly, of all the places I've lived in the United States...  Alaska is like NO other state.  Believe it or not, the winter is my favorite!  The holidays, the snow, the beauty of it all...  The wonderful thing is that since I work from home, we can go on adventures as a family and have the moments that most only dream of having!  I wanted to share the beauty of the wonderful state of Alaska....

A house decorated for the holidays...  The trees are just
dripping with fresh powder!

Christmas Day Family cross country ski...
found a babysitter so no one had to pull the extra weight:)

Our view from the neighborhood...

Ski over it, under it, around it...  the beauty is all around!

Midnight on a crystal clear evening...  it was a moment to
get lost in!

The glaciers become a playground for families to have
fun as well...

The real secret to a full and well balanced life is to embrace it!  Find the adventure in your surrounding...  Find the adventure with your family...  Find the adventure in your heart!!!  I would LOVE to hear about where you live and how you are embracing this day!

What Red Flags?

Hi there, so I understand you are looking for a home business opportunity?  If you join here now, you can make tens of thousands of dollars in just a few short weeks.  All you have to do is invest in a boat load of these Red Flags!  Don't worry about the large start up costs...  that will surely pay for itself when you figure out how to sell these Red Flags to others.  Just sign right here and we will help you...

YIKES!  Sounds pretty obvious, right?  Well, it isn't always so easy to determine what is legitimate and what "business opportunities" can do harm to you and your family.  With an increasing amount of scams on the internet posing as legitimate home businesses it is becoming more and more difficult to find a business opportunity that is not going to take your money and run.

Let's consider some criteria you can use to see the
Red Flags:

1.
Length of Time in Business ~ I would not invest my time, money, and resources into any home business opportunity that has not been successfully in business for at least five years. Most scams, schemes, and other bad business opportunities will not make it to the five year mark.

2.  Proven Business System ~ Is there a proven successful business system you can train on and get up and running quickly? You don't want to spend all of your time "reinventing the wheel."

3.
Hyped Guarantees ~ People want you to know that the opportunity they have for you is the best. Some hype can be expected. However, you need to watch out for the business opportunities that overdue it.  For example, any home business that "guarantees" you will make hundreds, thousands, or even millions of dollars, in any amount of time, is flat out lying to you. No one can make that kind of guarantee.

4.  Credibility ~ PLEASE check and make sure it is in good standing with the Better Business Bureau. It should have a favorable rating and a good reputation with current and previous members.

5.  Products/Services ~  Is the product or service something that people will actually want, need or use often? Look for a business opportunity with products that are used regularly. This will help you tremendously in getting new customers as well as build residual income from current customers.

6.
Joining Fees ~  Not every legitimate home business is free. In fact, many are not, but it is definitely a good sign if they at least let you check it out for free to see if it is for you. I don't know of a business that doesn't have some monetary investment to get started, but that should not be an issue when you are just trying to learn about the business.

7.
Free Website ~ You will definitely need to get your own website sometime in the future but when you are just beginning you probably won't have one yet. The business that you are joining should provide a free website for you to use. Chances are that you won't be able to make changes to it, but you can at least send prospects to your site.

8.
Compensation Plan ~ Ask yourself these questions regarding compensation: How hard is it to get in profit? Can you earn a full time income with them? Are the income expectations reasonable (see #3)? There should be a clear compensation plan and you should earn commissions from your very first 'sale.'

9.
Resources and Training  ~ Every good home business opportunity should have a resource center that members can go to for support, training, and resources to help them succeed with their home business.  Members should have two or more of the following available to them at all times: upline members, email support, phone support, live chat, scheduled meetings or a forum.

10.  Instincts ~ Use the above information as well as your own instincts when selecting a home business and you should never get scammed!

I hope the next time you are looking for a legitimate venture to consider, you are able to avoid buying into a boat load of
Red Flags.  Would love to hear what you have found out there and what your experience was with that company!

The Law of Auto-Suggestion

"Like the wind which carries one ship East and another West, the law of auto-suggestion will lift you up or pull you down, according to the way you set your sails of THOUGHT."  ~Napoleon Hill

I think many of us have heard the little phrase we teach our children...  "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me."  Well, that may very well be true of the words that people say to us.  The question is, what are the words you tell yourself about you???  Do you feel like you talk yourself out of ideas, adventures, jobs, relationship, etc.  Is it possible that you have conditioned yourself to NOT believe in your own power to succeed?  Even if you don't really know what steps need to be taken quite yet, it is important FIRST to put yourself in a state of mind that will allow you to be open to living your successes.

I found this verse while reading about the Law of Auto-Suggestion in "Think and Grow Rich":

"If you think you are beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don't,
If you like to win, but you think you can't
It is almost certain you won't.

If you think you'll lose, you're lost,
For out of the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow's will-
It's all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are,
You've got to think high to rise,
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win the prize.

Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man,
But soon or late the man who wins
Is the man WHO THINKS HE CAN!"

Now is your chance to renew the belief in what you are capable of achieving in your life....
NOW, IN THIS VERY MOMENT!  I would love to hear what you are going to start telling yourself that is going to make the difference in your life today!  Interested in working with me?  Visit:  http://InspiredCeoMoms.com

Thought on Living the Inspired Life

"Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart." Author Unknown

A friend shared this with me and how amazingly true it is!  As Wives, Mothers, Daughters, Sisters, Aunts, Cousins, Friends, Teachers or whatever title you carry...  I am sure you are searching for PEACE somewhere in your day.  The realization that it is there is truly within you!

Best,
